Ted is a very special Alpaca.
His type of fleece is called "Multi" because he has more than one colour on his body area (Saddle). When he is sheared we have to seperate the black, grey, white, and rose grey and have it spun seperately.
Ted has a very fine (22 micron) fleece, which when made into wool knits into silky soft, ultra warm hats.
Ted Wear is a very limited range of Ski Hats.
Unfortunately, we have sold out of this year's Ted Wear hats, and we are waiting for more wool to be spun from his June 2009 shearing.
He's squeezing as hard as he can for the 2009 shear!
