Ted's Diary
It has been a very exciting time for all of us! Barnaby, Ivory and Charm have all been to a Show – without ME. They enjoyed themselves meeting new people and being admired, - no prizes but lots of encouragement and nice comments from the judge. Now if they had taken me then who knows? I must have a word with Mark. I am really ready for this show business – I have the looks, the personality and that special quality – loveabiltiy (EVERYONE loves me!) Uncle Ian, from Dreamfield Alpacas, came and helped the lads with the fencing but he did not make us any SHELTERS – all his alpacas have shelters! I have suggested that we are moved into the barn – boy, is the barn BIG – but my fellow Alpacas don’t think that would be such a good idea, so yours truly is out here in the rain and the mud! Even the Geese have shelters – yes, you read that right – GEESE! Have you noticed my new paddock mates? When I first arrived I was lodging with crowd of wethers- all white – I did stand out! But I got rather bored as they were not the brightest of creatures, one or two were friendly but some of the bigger ones picked on me – can you believe it! I think they were jealous of my lovely markings and outstanding personality. Anyway after a few tiffs, Mike and Mark decided to let me take on my job as role model to the young boys – Augustus, King and my little pal Chris.
More next month, love to you all, Ted X X X X |
