From the tiniest baby to the most adventurous three year old - we offer exclusive clothing based on styles and patterns ranging from exquisite Edwardian baby clothes to the sweet flower child fashions of the 1960’s  - all are designed and beautifully hand knitted by Sue West in the rarest natural fibres in the world.

At the Retro Knitting Company we supply all sorts of items to recreate the wonderfully relaxing pleasures of knitting.  We have in stock hundreds of vintage patterns, imperial needles and vintage accessories along with pure natural knitting wools, alpaca, kid mohair, angora and cashmere. We also have limited stock of vintage pure wools and other vintage yarns. Buttons by the score, vintage and modern - from under 5mm to 20mm.

We have a beautiful range of retro style baby clothes in home bred alpaca and other pure fine wools. 

The Vintage Knitting Lady specializes in vintage knitting patterns, all in good condition and mostly pre 1970 many are from the 1920’s and 30’s. We stock many collectable baby and doll patterns.

Here you will find exquisite heirloom baby clothes created by Sue West from the finest BABY alpaca wool from our own herd, Little Gem Alpacas and other herds in the South West of England.
