Hema 628:  Vintage 3ply twin set for a littl girl 6-8 years 26-28 inch chest. Clowns and elephant adorn this colourful little set, worked from a chart - so easy. 1950's pattern in great condition, try 4ply for a better size fit, work tension square before you start, and remember to get an extra ball or two of yarn as 4ply does not go quite so far as 3ply - old ball bands did not give length of yarn only wieght in oz.(28g=1oz)

Lavenda 579: Super set with fair isle trim for baby boy of 6 months or 20 inch chest. Knitted in 3ply. pattern is a little worn round edges with mark at bottom of inside back page and inside front page - does not obsure instructions.

Sirdar 100: Lovely pattern with a cross over cardigan with rabbits and button up with ducks. Knitted in three ply to fit 19" chest, knit in 4ply or double knitting for larger sizes, changing needles if neccassary to get a supple fabric - too small needles will make the garment stiff and uncomfortable. Pattern has a few creases but is sound with one small annotation in the margin on one page.early 1960's
