*Studley 431: Beautiful vintage knitting pattern for jacket, hat, leggings and mitts from the 1980s to fit 16-18 inch chest (41cm-46cm). Little coat has shoulder cuffs and chevron skirt. Hat and mitts are plain that can be knitted with the pattern as well. Knitted in double knitting wool. Pattern is in very good condition.

*Studley 1073: Beautiful pattern for baby matinee jacket in wave pattern. Knitted in modern 4ply to fit 17 -19 inch chest. probably form the 1980s. Classic design with a pretty twist. Work in modern 3ply for small size newborn. Pattern in very good condition.

*Sunbeam 105: Very useful retro baby knitting pattern from the 1970's. Three cardigans knitted in 4ply, try tension square to see if you need to change needles to get correct size. To fit 18-20 inch chest, for smaller sizes knit in modern 3ply on same size needles. Pattern has a little wear to edges, otherwise in very good condition.

Sunbeam 151: Lovely layette with stunning shawl. Shawl measures 44" square and the baby clothes are to fit 16", so would suit a new born baby. Knitted in 3ply. See baby pages for more layettes. Pattern is in great condition and is from the early 1970's.

Target 1203: A very useful, nice retro pattern from the 1960's to fit 3 months to 2 years. The little cros over cardigan is knitted in one peice to fit 12-18 months in 3ply., The matinee in pink is to fit 3-6 months, the blue matinee 6-12 months and the little embroidered pink cardigan 2 years all in 3ply.

Templeton 752: Dresses for 22" chest and 16" length, approx 6-9 months, knitted in 3ply baby wool. Two designs for a baby girl, if knitted in modern 3ply and  size 11 imperial needles (3mm) the dresses should come out a little smaller and if worked shrter wil be ideal for new born-3 months or reborns

Templetons 1388: Very pretty vintage 1969 knitting pattern for three little cardigans to fit 18-20 inch chest about 6-12 months. One is double breasted 6 button crossover cardigan. Worked in vintage 3ply so work tension square to see if you need to change wool to modern 4ply for better fit. Work in modern 3ply for smaller size. Pattern in fair condition with small tear to spine side, but clean.

Templetons 1390: Another pretty vintage baby knitting pattern for 3 little cardigans to fit 18-20 inch chest for approx 6-9 months depending on size of baby. These ones are are knitted in baby quick-knit which is similar to modern baby double knitting, but work tension square to see if you need to change needle size. Try using modern 4ply or 3ply on smaller needles to make cardigans to fit smaller babies. Pattern is in nice condition, small crease to one corner.

Twilley 767: Great pattern! This is for knitted pants to cover nappy or training pants. From the late 1960's, knitted and crochet in cotton. According to the size needles required 12 and 13 imperials (2.75 and 2.25) then a size 40 cotton would work, 20 might be to thick and cause the fabric to be stiff once knitted. Try a tension square and see which needles are required to make size and which no cotton would work best. Cotton lace could be sewn round legs or work the crochet edging as instructed, one pair is knitted the other crochet. Sizes 6 months to 2years in 4 sizes.

Viyella C1: Stunning booklet of 8 pages from the 1930's with instructions to knit a cot cover, sress, jacket, bonnet, petticaot, and bootee for 6 month baby, also instructions for a unique undergarment, all in one, two dresses for 3-5 years old, a riding set for 5-8 years old comprising of jumper, leggings, and beret. And coat and bonnet for 18 month old baby - such a glorious collection and all so early 1930's - so retro.

Viyella 3544: Great vintage knitting pattern for an all in one suit to fit 6-9 months - 20" chest knitted in vintage 3ply, so try tension square in modern 4ply or use modern 3ply for a smaller size. The suit can be made with or without feet, there are instructions also for pull on hat, bonnet and mittens with thumb (the thumb can be ommited). This little gem is from the 1930's

Weldons A934: Great vintage knitting pattern for pram and cot blankets from the 1940's. Knitted in double knitting wool, so nice and  quick to knit. One of them is crochet. Sizes range from 24" x 30" top right,  27 x 30 top left , 20" x 28" bottom left  and the crochet on bottom right is 16" x 22" and 24"x35" Patten in good used condition.

Weldon A1049: Very useful vintage knitting pattern for baby cardigan in 3 sizes. Knitted in vintage 3ply wool from the late 1940's or very early 1950's. This little cardigan has pretty leaf design down fronts and will fit 18"-23" chest, given in 3 sizes, to make a smaller one, just use modern 3ply. Wendywear 443. What a sweetie! This lovely early 1950's wendy pattern is for a pram suit with beret in 3ply to fit 9-12 month baby. The whole set only takes 8oz or 4 x 50gm balls. Pattern is a little worn with a few tears an nicks at the edges, but is clean and sound.

Woolworths 142.  Here is lovely set from Woolworths in 1960's. Birth to 18 months in 3ply wool or nylon. (see wool for sale page for vintage wool and nylon from the 1950's and 60's also modern pure wools).  This patttern is in great condition and consists of matinee jacket, bonnet, mitts, leggings and blanket trimmed with satin ribbon. The small size takes 3 x 50gms balls and the rug takes 3 balls of 50 gms. Rug measures  26 inches by 32 inches, adjustable.

Woolworths 143.Another very useful pattern includes the cross-over hug-me-tight style of cardigan as well as yolk matinee and a raglan little coat, all in 3ply. From the 1960's. Slight wear to pattern, split to top of spine, clean and sound.
