What a great bonnet! this little set has a great kitten ear bonnet and with fair isle on the sleeves and around the edge of bonnet and the other one, the baby is wearing is a hooded coat with kitten ear hood, with baby cable down the front and round the front of the hood. Bairnswear 1348:  This is a fabulous baby vintage pattern in great condition, only the right hand corner clipped to remove price. This pattern was first printed in the 1930's but was still in print in the 1950's.  There is a lovely little girls parm set with 'kitten' hood and another with picot trimming.  Both are for a 20" chest and are knitted in vintage 3ply, for a smaller sixe knit in modern 3ply, otherwise try modern 4ply for similar sizing.

All worked in vintage 3ply, so work a tension square to see if they would work better in modern 4ply or with a change of needles. To make smaller size work in modern 3ply on size 12 and 11 old needles. The lilac one has crochet edging, but can easily have normal rib or a picot edging. all to fit 20" chest or 9-12 months old (depending on size of baby of course!)
