Greenock 115: Very pretty vintage knitting pattern for baby matinee set - these sets were known as Afternoon sets as this was when the baby was taken out in the pram and was dressed in its best. Lee Target 6562:  Vintage knitting pattern for baby. This is a beautiful pattern from the early 1960's with little embroidered cardigan, two sweet matinee jackets and the ever popular cross over cardigan. The size range is good too - 20-24 inches from 3 months to 2years If knitted in 3ply they would be slightly smaller and new born could be made. The designs ask for nylon super crimp, which of course is no klonger made, but try  4ply a i think this would be nearer than double knitting to get the right size.
