*Robin 1803: This is a fabulous pattern - just what is needed in these days of saving fuel - wear a cosy dressing gown and turn down the heating! From 1968 this pattern has two designs and is for chest 22-28 inches. Knitted in doule knitting will knit up quickly and make a great gift. When I was a child in the early 1950s we always had a knitted dressing gown for Christmas- and slippers - I had some once with little rabbits heads on and Mum had embroiderd rabbits on the front of the dressing gown too.
