Bestway 2013.  Lovely pattern from this famous knitting pattern firm! Very collectable these Bestway designs - Look at the Weldons also at the end of page 2. This little bonnet set , complete with MATINEE JACKET is simple to do and only takes 1 and 1/2 x 50gm balls of 3ply for the whole set. 1940's

Bestway 2169. Another stunning little bonnet so typical of the 20's and 30's. 6 months to3 years sizes in this pattern knitted in angora or 3ply baby wool. There is also one with a fair Isle border for the older child 2-3 years.  The angora one takes 2 x balls of Fuzzy Wuzzy (1/2 oz balls) or 1 x ball of Jaeger (20gms) see wool for sale for angora, vintage and modern.

Bestway 2705. Here we have a stunning bonnet pattern for that really retro look! This pattern is in super condition and the bonnets will fit 12 to 24 months in 3ply. If knitted in pure new 3ply wool they will com up a little smaller and fit from 6 months (depending on babies head size!)  I have knitted them in 2ply modern pure new wool and they fitted a new born. This issue from the 1940's was reissued several times in 1950's - you can see why it was so popular - fabulous pattern.
