*All Dressed Up: pattern from magazine from the early 1970's. There are three outfits to fit 7.5" twin dolls similar to the Rosebud dolls of the 1950'60's. They are knitted in 4ply and there are instructions for the two outfits seen here as well as a nightdress.

Bairnswear 181: "Dolls Wooly Outfits" Not quite as rare as the two previous patterns but still greatly sought after. This consists of Coat, beret and shoes, jumper and shorts, jacket, leggings and pixie hood for 18" doll in 3ply. This copy has a torn corner and a centre crease which has split slightl at edge.

Bellmans 1222: lovely vintage pattern in 4ply to fit 12 or 16 inch doll.  This is a very useful pattern comprising of dress, bootees, matinee coat, bonnet, mittens, leggings  and knickers with a lovely blanket to match. Copley 663: outfits for twin dollies: dress knickers, jumper and shorts and vest. No size given but look as though they are 12"-13" dolls.  Dress measures 8.5"  this is a pattern from the 1920's and the doll are probably celluloid - a very thin material that dented and split easily.

Copley 1829: lovely old collectable pattern, much sought after - glad I have a copy to offer. Bit worn arround edges, reinforced at punch holes with linen circles early 1950's pattern. Spine split but stable. clean internally and cover. Full layette including underwear and shawl, long dress, short dress, petticoat and matinee set. Just beautiful made up! Pattern states 2ply, try modern 3ply.  to fit a 12 inch doll - it fits my little Rosebud just right knitted in 3ply pure wool (modern).

Golly wools 22:  Vintage pattern for 11" and 14.5" dolls in double knitting. There a mulditude of items here. Dress, stole, pxie hooded jacket, trouseres, hooded cape, underwear and a sleeping bag. Biro marks in green and red to margins on 2 pages,  corner missing from booklet - text unaffected. Bit worn at edges, staples rusty and split to spine - but all in all secure and useable.1960s

Greenock 62: Such a pretty old pattern, but very fragile. The pattern is for vest, knickers, shoes, frock, coat and bonnet (bonnet is in angora) again no size of doll given but dress measures nearly 9" so I would think between 12"-14" doll. early 1920's

Hall-Mark 107: Lovely old pattern for a baby boy doll 19 to 21 inches, in DK aslo suitable for prem baby or new born. Late 1940's/early 1950's 'Economy Design' printed after the Second World War when paper and wool were still difficult to find and rationing was still in force. Hole punches torn, but otherwise sound and clean. Showing wear - don't we all at this age!

Hallmark 115: Lovely pattern from the 1950's to fit dolls 10"-22" as shown. Double knitting for the larger size, 4ply and 3ply for the smaller sizes. hood with bobbles, shaped coat and trews. The biffer size fits the Pedigree Walker and similar of 22" Th 14" aslo fits the 'Little Prinecess ' doll It is the change of wool ply and needles give the relevant size - good practice on how to work bigger and smaller sizes from one pattern by just changing ply and/or needles.early 1950's

Ladyship 524: Lovely vintage pattern for baby doll, no size given but dress length is 11" and the coat is 7" the chest measurement is 15" - bonnet measures 8.5 round face and 4.5 front to centre back.  Would possible fit prem baby ! Lavenda 1072: Very fragile pattern from my collection from the 1940's. Due to it's rather sad state I can only offer this pattern as a photocopy.  As with most post war-time patterns this was produced on poor quality paper and in black and white. The pattern is still readable and clean with clear instructions it is knitted in 3ply and fits 10 inch doll - I made this for my little Rosebud baby doll and it fitted beautifully. There is a dress, matinee jacket, bonnet, bootees, petticoat, vest and knickers.

*Lee's 229: Fabulous little pattern from the war years, even tells you how many coupons you need, knitted in 3ply and 4ply wool. No size is given, but the dress length is 9.5" and the coat is 10" in length, with a chest measurement of 15" so I would guess that the doll would be approx 20"  The is a dress, coat, bonnet with brim, undies, and gloves.1940's

*Mary's Dollies volume 10: This booklet of 15 pages was printed in the USA in 1946.  The outfits were designed by Mary Hoyer for her doll, a 14" teenager style doll, with a waist and hips - they also fit the Pedigree doll of the same type popular in the 1950's. There are 5  styles including a knitted beaded long dress and juliet cap, knitted a riding habit and crocheted bikini, crochet ballet style dress and the outfit shown here, a coat with angora trim, hat and bag also crocheted. All the pages are pink! pictures of the other outfit available on request.
