These book are in copyright and therefore cannot be photocopied or pdfed. Instructions for 18-25" dolls, these sizes will fit tiny new born to 3months old babies as well. All in double knitting and easy to knit.In glorious colour 22 pages.Patterns include dress and cape, wave dress and bonnet and bootees, boys out fit with pom-pom hat and shoes, dress, matinee boneet and bootees with blackbearry border, and a rosebud pramset for a Rosebud baby.

The Miss Rosebud Twins and Freinds Book: Another stunning book for the Dolls Designs girls. There are instructions for over 30 outfits all developed from the Woman's Weekly patterns published in the 1950's. Colour and black and white illustrations through out. Fabulous book. Instructions include dresses, coats, trousers, nighties and dressing gowns, pajamas, underwear, sun suits, swim suits, boleros, cardigans, jumpers hats, riding outfits, brownie outfits and many more. *Miss Rosebud Twins Knitting Book from Dolls Design: Fabulous book which predates the one above and is no longer available in this format. In lovely condition very good. Published in 1995, still in copyright. There are over 31 outfits including, nurse, coronation outfit, skiing, coats, dresses, underwear, delightful nightdress and dressing gown etc. All taken from the Woman's Weekley magazine 1950-53 contains black and white pictures from the actual magazine as well as the fabulous colour photos of original dolls in the knitted outfits. Mostly knitted in modern 3ply and 20 count cotton. *Knitting For Baby Dolls from Dolls Design: This one predates the one above and is no longer available in this format. These patterns are based on the doll patterns from the 1950's and the date and pattern are given credit in the text. Pattens for 6.5 dolls to 21" quite a few for the little SUCK A THUMB doll, Carrie of Amanda Jane. There are 18 complete outfits, including a modern baby grow to fit Annabel or Baby Born, many of the pattersn adapt well to modern dolls. Small and large sizes often given, From 3ply to double knitting used. There are layettes, pram sets and a fabulous Christening set. Dresses, bonnets and leggings, fabulous selection, on of their best books. Published in 1997. Still in copyright.

*The Little Princess and Her Friends Book for Dolls Designs: Fabulous book of knitting patterns from the 1950s once available in the Woman's Illustrated Magazine. These are from 1953-55 and fit dolls 14" Theses designs were for Pedigree's Little Princes Doll, one of Pedigree most collectable and the indeed the most beautiful in my opinion -I am lucky to have one in my collection. There are 40 garments in this book and all can be adapted to fit modern 14" dolls. Used but with minimal wear in lovely condition. Lavish colour photos through out as usual with these books. Patons pure merino or acrylic can be used. See button pages for button suitable for these dolls. 1994 still in copyright.

Dolls Design KP70: Fabulous outfit for the vintage Teen doll including Sheena and Pedigree Teen dolls. These were very pretty dolls with shaped waist and various hairstyls. some with pony tails, some with curly hair or bobs. Very Popular in the late 1950's and 1960's. I still have my Chiltern with a pny tail and my Pedigree also with long hair, I also have a pretty black Teen Doll form the 1960's. These dolls were made in different sizes from 10 inches to 20 inches. This pattern is for 18 inch doll with waist, bust and hips. There are instructions for a dress and bolero and shoes. Angora, mohair or substitute fluffy yarn is used for the bolero, but ordinary 4ply will work just as well. Still in Copyright 2003 See vintage doll pages for more to fit teen dolls.
