Bairnswear 277: Great mens vintage jumper knitting pattern 1930s. This pattern has instructions for a polo neck sweater in double knitting wool to fit a 34 inch chest, to make a larger size work a tension square, find out how many stitches you knit to the inch in the wool chosen then at that about of stitches for every inch you need the sweater to measure. Change needles if needed to get the correct size as stated. Always add more wool if you are knitting a bigger size. Bairnswear 645M: Vintage knitting pattern men's socks giving instructions for 4 different types of heel all knitted in 4 needles. This is a great pattern for both young and adult, to fit 22-44 inc chest and worked in a thick wool ,try aran or a chunky yarn for this one, always work a tension square and change needles if needed.
