Retro Dolly

At Retro Dolly we supply vintage and modern pure wool, tiny buttons, silk ribbons and other accessories to help you create your own bit of nostalgia.  We also hand knit clothes for antique, vintage, and collectable dolls. We use pure new wool, vintage unused wool (and modern synthetic yarns when asked!). We use tiny mother of pearl vintage buttons or specially made tiny buttons on all our doll and baby clothes. All designs are based on patterns from 1880 to 1980. All size of dolls catered for from two inches (5cm) to twenty four inches (61cm) tall. We can provide knitted clothes for boys, girls and babies including 1950's fifteen to eighteen inch teenage dolls and the more modern Sindy, Tressy and of course Barbie, Ken and Action Man.  Occcassionally we have a few antique or vintage items of clothing  or accessories for sale

We have for sale tiny mother of pearl buttons, specially made very tiny synthetic buttons, glass and china vintage buttons.

When making clothes for antique, vintage or collectable dolls we always finish each garment traditonally and use patterns, colours, yarns, buttons and ribbons that appear contemporary with the age of the doll. We can take orders for a single pair of bootees or pair of knickers to a whole layette or wardrobe for a teenage doll. We also occassionally have clothes available for vintage TEDDY BEARS
