*Copley 2019: Fabulous vintage knitting pattern for sun tops from the late 1930's, just the thing for the beach in 2010. Instructions for three different tops all knitted in vinage 3ply, try tension square in modern 4ply and see if a change of needles is needed - tension has to be tighter if you wish to go in the water with these tops - also use modern synthetic yarn to minimize, soggy top syndrome and streatching or shrinking! Great for jus laying around on the beach or on the deck of that expensive yatch.

*Ladyship 662sw: Another fabulous vintage knitted swim suit pattern from 1929. This on is for ladies, top, trunks and coatee. Knitted in what was called 'Holiday', from the needle size I would imagine it was simiar to our modern 4ply, work tension square and see if a needle change is needed, remember o keep the fabric tight to avoid 'soggy bottom syndrome' Great talking point on the beach - the outfit hopefully not the soggy bottom part! To fit 36" bust. Again this out fit will be great for lounging around the beach or th deck of a cruise ship - just think of Agatha Chritie novel and hope your trip will be a bit less eventful! Just the thing for the Briotish summer!  Great fo those family re-enactment get together, this is typical 1940's pattern, but these little suits were worn right into the 1950's - I had a red and white striped one! Copley 3073: Pretty sun-suit for the beach this summer, with little jacket to keep of the chill or sun. Two designs, the ships are embroidered on after completion, instructions in pattern.
