	*Copley 1180: Vintage tea cosy knitting pattern probably from the later 1940's. There are 3 different styles and looks like it was produced as a Christmas pattern. Speedknit was used, this was more than likely a very thick double knitting as it was knitted on no 4 needles (6mm), may even have been a chunky wool there are tension instructions, so using double knitting double might well work. Style 1 and 4 are crochet, the other 4 are knitted. vintage 3ply, 4ply and a slightley thicker wool is called for - so try using modern 4ply, double knitting and aran or chunky. 	Penelope K1534: Three tea cosies lady is in crochet, Dutch girl is knitted as is the bachelor tea cosy with the loops at the top. All knitted in double knitting.
