Bestway 690: Fabulous vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930s. Great fun and so very retro! 3 Gay Tea Cosies. Knitted in 4ply and 3ply vintage wool. There is also hot water cosy! The cosies measure: top right hand corner -18 inches round and 7 inches high. Cottage 26.5 inches all round and 6.5 inches high. The pair at the bottom, tea cosy 6 inches and 8 inches high, will expand to fit a 2 pint tea pot. This shows the near perfect one in my collection form which the photocopy and pdf are taken.

Bestway 1202: Fabulous vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930s. Instructions for 2 tea cosies, both made from oddments of wool, another of the wartime patterns that urged you to use scraps or undo old woollens and reuse the wool. Th lady tea cosy has a knitted doll top and the flower basket one has cleverly wound loops to create the flowers.

Bestway 1220: Great vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1930's. Instructions for 3 stunning tea cosies 2ply, 3ply and 4ply wool. A dolls house doll can be used if you dont have genuine half doll - still to find some at reasonable price, or make one from wool see pattern above. Measurements: Crinoline skirt length 7.5 inches and round base 26.5 inches. The square one is 22 inches round base and 7.25 inches high - all measurements are easily adjusted. Still fashionable after 80 years!

Bestway 2270: Great vintage tea cosies knitting pattern. 1930s. Very retro, very easy to knit tea cosy and egg cosy pattern. Three different styles all knitted and all a very basic pattern. Three different sizes. Small one is 11inches round base, the one with floweres is 14.5 inches round bas at ists smallest will sstreatch. The one with the matiching egg cosy 19 inches round for the large one and 17 inchs round for the smaller one all adjustable in height. Instructions to make floweres and pom-pom - so easy. Great for fetes, craft stalls and gifts. Great for that authentic touch for renactment societies, plays and that retro feel to an old fashioned tea-party - sorry no doormouse! This one was very popular during the war as it used oddments and was quick and easy to knit in the low light and in the air raid shelters.

Copley 1180: Vintage tea cosy knitting pattern 1940's. There are 3 different styles and looks like it was produced as a Christmas pattern. Speedknit was used, this was more than likely a very thick double knitting as it was knitted on size imperial 4 needles (6mm), may even have been a chunky wool there are tension instructions, so using double knitting double might well work. Design 1 and 3 are knitted and 2 is crochet.

*Ladyship 446tc: Fabulous vintage knitting pattern vintage tea cosies 1930s. This beautiful pattern is for three different cosies and a simple egg cosy. Top embroidered square cosy is for a medium pot and measures 9.5 x12.5 inches (2.5 inches deep), the other embroidered one is 11 x13.5 inches and then there is the little jacket at the bottom which is 6.5 x 8.5 inches. Knitted in thick wool called chubby, which was similar to Aran. The little one is knitted in what they called Holiday wool which was similar to modern 4ply.
