Knitted Toys and Dolls by Nellie Burnman: Published in 1981 this vintage toy knitting book has 17 different toys to knit including small toys 4.50" tall (11.5cm) penquin, chick, elephant, walrus and owl. A snake, 30" (76cm), two dolls 7" tall (18cm) monkey, 8.5" tall, bear 7" tall and bunny 8.5" tall, Panda 7" tall, camel 7.5" tall, lamb 8" tall, Giraffe 12" tall. donkey 10.5" tall. This is a American book so a needle chart will be sent with it. Worsted weight yarn is similar to out double knitting. There is full instructions how to work the simple stitches and how to sew them up. You can change the size of the toys if you change the size of the needles and/or the weight of yarn used. PK408-1: Great vintage knitting pattern for teddy bear, this little chap is knitted in mohair and wool mix, still available today, but check tension and change needles if needed - should be a double knitting ply. He measures 15" when stuffed. You can embroider his eyes if you prefer.
