Bestway 820: Stunning vintage teddy bear knitting pattern. What a fun little chap!  this vintage pattern is from the 1930's. Bruin mesures 13" and unusually has his mouth open. Original pattern for sale has crease across front and is a bit worn at edges.

Bestway 3339: Great vintage knitting pattern for toys. Here are a fun group from the early 1950's, a colour version of an earlier pattern.  There is a rabbit, teddy, cat, doll and a clown all knitted in double knitting and take just over 50gs of wool each - great for the charity bazaar or church fete or those gift boxes at Christmas. The toys measure 10.5" when stuffed. if you want small er toys knit in a finer ply on smaller needles.I now have an original to sell. Pattern is showing signs of wear, scuffs and minor creas marks to cover but sound and clean.

Hamlyn publishing: White Bear: This is a very easy bear to knit, the instructions are for a square of knitted fabric worked in stocking stitch, then the pattern parts brinted on the pattern are made in card, traced round, cut from the knitted fabric, then sewn together, stuffed and clothes are then knitted to fit bear. Brides dress and bridesmaids version, aran sweater, scarf and hat, skating jumper with snowflakes on and skirt, with muff and knickers, ski jumper, hat and trousers, santer suit with hat, jacket and trousers, bikini and shorts and stripped nautical sweater.
