*Bairnswear 523: Another great vintage fair isle knitting pattern form the late 1930s, possibly the early 1940s - due to the war many patterns were just carried over as an economy measure, so would have been available in the 1930s and 1940s. Vintage 3ply used, so try modern 4ply as above to fit 39"-40" chest.
