*Weldons 259: Great vintage 1930's knitting pattern for little girl's dress - so sweet! To fit 3-5 years 23"-24" chest, can be made longer or shorter. With dainty smocked yoke, so easy to create this effect, it is merely rib and then a few stitches to bring the groups together on alternate rows - very effective, also pretty button detail. Worked in vintage 3ply so use modern 4ply, if you wish a smaller size then ue modern 3ply.

*Weldons 386: Great vintage knitting pattern for girl's bolero and short sleeved jacket with embroidery from the late 1930's. Worked in vintage 3ply so try modern 4ply in a tension square and see if you need to change needles to get correct tension. *Weldons 526: Great vintage knitting pattern from the late 1930s for girl's jacket and skirt and little jumper with collar and lace zig-zag, design, to fit 3-4 years old or 24" chest. Worked in vintage 3ply so use modern 4ply, lovely retro pattern for those summer re-enactment weekends as these patterns continued during the war as it was cheaper to reproduce than make new ones. So many of the Bestway and Weldons of this era ran from the mid 30's to late 40's

Weldons B942: Another useful family pattern with sizes ranging from 2-12 years old, easy to knit V-neck cardigan in double knitting. Remember when oz are quoted that an oz is 29gs, most wool is sold in 50g balls today, so it will be easy to work out. Pattern has a crease to one corner, otherwise is in great condition for over 50 years old! Clean and sound.
